At this KIDS ONLY event, kids are invited to sell, shop and trade their toys, games, books, and sporting equipment to other kids. Each registered kids gets a booth from which to sell their stuff, and they are encouraged to do their own pricing, bargaining and trading/swapping in order to learn the value of business, handling money and recycling.
There is NO FEE to register and kids keep 100% of their profits. No clothing, household items or food allowed and all items must be clean and in working order. Recommended for children ages 6-16, and parent supervision is required for children under age 12.Kids are welcome to shop even if they do not have a booth, and admission is free.
This community service project is the idea of Trendy Tots Resale Shop owner Chenay Sloan who was looking for a way to teach her own children the value of resale and a way to earn their own money. She shared the idea with other Moms and families and was able to put together this first sale that is a first of it's kind in the Wichita area.
