Liv Fest is a two day Music and Art Festival taking place on June 15th and 16th. Come see the best local artists all performing in one venue. There will be a range of genres including indie, hip-hop, rock, bluegrass, folk, and funk, among many others. Popular groups such as Carrie Nation and the Speakeasy, and our local celebrity from NBC's The Voice, singer Chris Mann are set to perform at this event.
Set to happen in and outside of the historic Orpheum theater, there will be indoor performances and special screenings of Tallgrass Festival films, outdoor stages and booths. Find family friendly activities such as craft-making/activity stations, and a shopping market. (The Shopping market is from 12-5 on Saturday.) Food and alcoholic/non alcoholic drink vendors available. This is an event you'll want to attend both days.
Eddy's Toyota, a sponsor of the event, and the festival are awarding a $700 art scholarship to the winner of their first ever T-shirt art competition. Entrants are students ages 9-12 and the winner will not only receive the scholarship award, but have their design on the official t-shirt for the event. Entry for this event is already closed, and winners will be chosen by online votes and by staff of the event.
Tickets are $25 and give you access to attend both days, which run Friday from 5-midnight and Saturday from noon-2 am. There are also VIP tickets that give you access to meals and drinks. Tickets can be bought at Select A Seat online, at Dillons or the Orpheum box office.
You can see all these details again, and more info at the website, www.livfest.com.
