Baby Gracelyn to bless others in her fight for life

Gracelyn Louise Morris is a vibrant, happy baby, who was born on September 30, 2012. On March 9 of this year, she was laid down for her daily nap by her Mother and was found shortly after unresponsive and not breathing. Gracelyn was rushed by ambulance to Wesley hospital and is still currently at time of this post, in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, fighting for her life. Estimated time she was not breathing was 15 minutes, and Doctors are still searching for the cause of her condition.  Medical care and research comes at an enormous financial hardship to family and loved ones. Gracelyn's parents are constantly at her side praying for a miracle at this point.
Friends of this sweet family are putting together a fundraiser to raise money for Gracelyn's care. Plans are still in the works and help and resources are still needed. There will be a day long event at Abode Venue on 1330 E. Douglas on April 28th.  A silent auction, raffle and donations will be a few of the events they are planning to support the family.  Currently they are seeking help for auction items, volunteers, and any companies willing to sponsor the cause.

If you wish to make a cash donation, those can be given to Intrust Bank under the name "Given for Grace".
Prayers for this family is also appreciated.

You can find out more about this event at the Facebook event page "Given for Grace".

*As of the evening of 3/21 baby Gracelyn or "Gracie Bear" as known by family and friends, passed away into the arms of Jesus. The family is extremely grateful for all the help and gifts that have come their way. The family has chosen to pay forward the compassion shown them to other families in need. Donations can still be made at the sources above, and any other new information can be found at the Facebook event page.
