shuffling though drawers and totes pulling out the short sleeves and the shorts and skirts.
Now is a great time to start going through those closets and taking inventory of what your kids are going to need to get them through the next two seasons.
Make sure as you sort you make a donate pile, and a consignment pile. Consignment is a great way to make your kids clothing an investment, and helps you to reduce and reuse helping out the environment as well.
Amanda at Rhea Lana's Consignment event has sent me some information and tips for consigning for her upcoming consignment event.
As a consignor with Rhea Lana's you can enjoy perks such as:
- an early shopping pass for the private pre-sale event
- access to their online computerized inventory system - no handwriting any tags!
- Get your check on pick-up day, and all items are GUARANTEED if any thing shows up missing, Rhea Lana's will pay you for those missing items.
The average family with three children saves $600-$1200 each year by shopping consignment. And the average consignor earns about $750 per year at Rhea Lana's events.
Makes sense to me. So here's how to do it. Sign up to be a consignor at wichita.rhealana.com. At the homepage click on SIGN UP TO CONSIGN in the top right hand corner. There is then a video that will walk you through the next steps.
Start gathering your items, and make sure to follow the tips given at the Rhea Lana's website. There are special, easy instructions for tagging and preparing your items. If you have questions through the process just email Amanda at Amanda@rhealana.com. Also check out their facebook fan page.
Don't miss out also on my exclusive interview with Amanda last year when I asked her all about being a working from home Mom with a successful business, from my WAHM series. Her story is very inspirational.
Also, don't forget to read my personal tips for consigning here, and for buying consignment.
Happy sorting!!
