December 13th is Spaghetti with Santa, at Botanica. Enjoy a spaghetti dinner from Defazio's with Santa and his elves, and sugar cookies from Connie's Cookies. Then enjoy the lights of Illuminations throughout Botanica Click here for times and ticket information.
The city of Wichita is collecting letters for Santa and giving away early Christmas presents now through December 14th. Children ages 12 and under can visit CityArts, Century II, Cowtown Museum and the All-American Indian Center and drop off their letters to Santa. (They will receive a response if they include their return address.) Presents of family memberships to the museums, or gift certificates, as well as the grand prize of a Fire Truck ride to school will be given away. A Night with Santa, is on Tuesday, December 6th, at Century II, 6:30-9pm. Indoor carnival games, face painting, concessions, photos with Santa, prizes, and more. Tree lighting at Kennedy Plaza at 6pm. This is a Free event for kids 12 and under, suggested donation for the Wichita Children's Home.
