Free CPR training

September 29th-October 1st is  Greater Andover Days in Andover, Ks.   Butler County Emergency Medical Services will provide CPR training for the public on Saturday, October 1st.

There will be three sessions in total, 11:30, 1:30 and 3:30 and will be at the main stage in the parking lot of City Hall at Central Park (Central 1/2 mile east of Andover Rd.)

Those who attend the 30 minute training session will receive a card stating that they are able to provide hands-only CPR, and use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) for someone in need. If you are wanting official certification the BCPR (Butler County Public Responder), can connect you with the resource to do this as well.  It was not indicated whether you needed to be a resident of Butler County in order to participate.  Get more info at www.andoverks.org., the andoveramerican.com.
