Cupcake Devotional Review

Want something sweet for your day, something that will make you feel fulfilled and satisfied without gaining a pound?  How about something filled with words of hope, encouragement, and dolluped with an overflowing amount of faith?

I recently received a free Cravings, Cupcake Devotional for review.  I wasn't real sure what to expect when I opened the package, and not sure how I was going to fit this into my already busy day.  So I picked a spot where I spend a lot of time, doing something that's not pleasurable....above my kitchen sink. So as I "slave away " two, or three times a day doing dishes, I could read it, and hopefully make something I dislike more bearable.  I am so glad I did!! Each day is filled with encouragement, truth and hope for Mom's. I began to actually be drawn to my own kitchen sink, to read this little bit of God each day.

Carey seems to understand what Mom's go through and perfectly lifts you up with encouragement, ideas, and scripture.  Helping you apply God's word to the trials and challenges of life, motherhood, and just being a woman.  Each day's card seemed to fit perfectly somehow with something I may have been going through, and I really felt the holy spirit speaking directly to me through each days devotion.  This little set is a great gift idea for any woman who would appreciate the little lift it gives each day.  Topics like anger, fear, joy, health, decision making, doubt.  All with Scripture to apply to those topics along with a short paragraph applying it to being a Mom, wife or woman of God.  It comes with a cute resin cupcake that holds each days cards, and then a clip that you put the card onto and change each day.  There are about 40 days worth and I am at 38.  I can't wait to start them again, as I am sure that they will speak to me all over again!!

You can get one for yourself or someone special, here.

Cravings is a collection of card-size devotionals based on the Psalms. They are written to help mothers develop their relationship with God in the midst of motherhood.

Each card contains a scripture for the day, a “thoughtlet,” and an action idea. As moms crave the sweet morsels from God’s Word, they can draw a card from a delectable Cravings holder—a pink cupcake!—that also displays the daily card for hands-free viewing. Versatile enough to fit with any feminine décor in a dining nook, a prayer closet, a kitchen--wherever you‘d want Scripture at your fingertips. If you find you need Cravings around the home, just one may not be enough!
Cravings can be a mom’s daily devotional, a supplement to her regular quiet time, or even doubled up during the day. The set of 40 cards offers over a month’s worth of Cravings in whatever way serves the spiritual needs of individual moms.
