Ladies! Get very excited! Ditch the kids with their Dad or Grandma, grab a girlfriend, or just enjoy some solitude and head on over to Bradley Fair and check out the new Versona store!
New to this area, Versona offers a department store/boutique feel without the prices. Don't let the fancy facade, shiny floors and crystal chandeliers intimidate you, the prices, selection and quality is for everyone!
When you first walk into the store you will notice the layout is perfect for those that are fashion delayed, or accessory challenged. Everything is grouped by color complete with coordinating jewelry, bags and shoes. You'll also find display after display of jewelry, complete sets of earring, necklaces and bracelets arranged by color as well. So there was a display of blues, corals, whites, yellows and greens. You catch what I mean, making it super simple to find the perfect accessories for an outfit you already have or for one of the great pieces they have in store.
Now here's the exciting part: I spent about an hour browsing the store and did not see much over $20 by way of clothing!!! Jewelry ranged from $7.99 for a pair of earrings to $15-24 for a necklace. Dresses that are perfect for a spring or summer wedding for around $40! Handbags averaged at $24.99 and they all appeared to be great as far as style and quality go. There is a great shoe selection, prices ranging about $25-$30 for super cute platform wedges. There are even casual flats that start at around $15.
I talked to the store manager, Tina, about Versona, and asked about their sales and quality. You'll see a lot of the great, trendy looks that are popular on the web and a not to mention names home jewelery party brand. Looks like the statement bubble necklaces, large rings and stack bracelets. I checked prices on a variety of items and expected to see larger numbers, but was surprised that prices were something this cheapskate would actually spend. The great thing that Tina told me was that they keep low quantities so that there aren't a gazillion of the same items running around, and they restock the floor with new items weekly.
What I got for about $26!! |
Scarves, belts, sunglasses, shoes, wallets, watches, jewelry, hair accessories and fun gift items like hand painted wine glasses, journals, key chains and more. I believe you could build an entire head to toe outfit including a bag and stuff to go in it for under $100! The timing of their opening is perfect for Mother's Day which is Sunday, May 12!
You can check out Versona now at their website here. Follow them on Facebook, and make sure you sign up for their email list which keeps you updated with the latest product change and new items arriving weekly.
