Showing Dad you love him this Father's Day doesn't have to break your budget. Sometimes the most thoughtful gifts are the most memorable. I scoured the web this afternoon to find the best ideas for easy, fun and inexpensive Father's Day gifts. Have your own memorable gift idea? Share your gift ideas below!
1. Make him an appreciation video. Most kids you turn on a camera and the entertainment flows. Get the kids to create a skit, or song or tribute video for Dad, and then premiere it for him on Father's Day.
2. Fill jar(s) with Dad's favorite candy or snacks. You could even bake up a snack mix or homemade granola. Have the kids decorate it with puff paint or glass paint. Stickers or even scrapbook paper glued and/or modge podged on could do. Tie it with a bow. Mom, put a little love note at the bottom letting your husband know how much you appreciate his hard work and dedication to your family. He can take it to work and set it on his desk for mid-day snack attacks. Check out these free Dad's Day Printables from

3. Decorate a canvas apron. Decorate with a theme related to what he does best in the kitchen, like grilling, or breakfast. You could cut felt pieces into food shapes or cooking utensils. Use Fabric Markers to write "Best Dad Ever", or have the kids use fabric paint to put hand and/or foot prints all over. Get creative!

4. Make handprint art. With date and age. Frame it for his office or "mancave".
5. Frame a piece of your children's custom artwork Put a picture of them in the corner that shows the age they were when they did it.
6. Have the kids make a photo collage of all of Dad's favorite things. Print of pictures of the kids, pets, and family. Maybe even a picture of his car or him doing his favorite things. Use magazines to fill in between the photos.
7. Let Dad have the day off. If the kids are old enough, have them take some of his weekend chores for him: mowing the yard, wash his car, take care of a handyman project. Let him know it's his day for rest of relaxation. Send him out to do his favorite thing: golfing, etc.
